Karim Anjarwalla is the Senior Partner at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, the largest full-service corporate law firm in East Africa. With over two decades of experience advising on high-stakes mergers, cross-border transactions, and sovereign bond issues for governments, Karim has a deep understanding of the intersection between law, governance, and economic stability in Africa. His work spans multiple African jurisdictions, where he has navigated complex legal and regulatory frameworks.
Panellist: Allan Ngari
Advocacy Director, Africa, Human rights watch

Allan Ngari is the Africa Advocacy Director at Human Rights Watch, with over a decade of experience in Africa’s human rights landscape. He has worked with prominent organizations such as the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, the Institute for Security Studies, and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation. Allan holds a law degree from the University of Nairobi and a master's degree in law from Stellenbosch University. His areas of interest include transitional justice, human
rights, organized crime, and counter-terrorism in Africa.

Panellist: Wore Ndiaye
Senegal Country Chair, Diplomacy and Negotiations, G100 Club.

Woré Ndiaye is an expert in Conflict Transformation. She is also a coach and mentor on individual and institutional Transformational leadership. Woré currently serves as a National representative to the G100 on Diplomacy and Negotiations as well as Coordinator of Sunu Capital Humain (SUNUCAPH). Her work also includes a senior global advocacy advisory role at Sightsavers in Francophone West and Central Africa. Woré holds an MA in Conflict Transformation from EMU’s Center for Justice and
Peacebuilding (CJP).

Panellist: Tendai Biti
Human Rights Lawyer & Former Minister of Finance, Zimbabwe.

Tendai Biti is a top human rights lawyer in Zimbabwe that has pushed the boundaries of the law and produced numerous groundbreaking Human Rights judgements on freedom of assembly, judicial bias and malice as well as freedom of expression. Between 2009 to 2013, he was the Minister of Finance in Zimbabwe during which he was named the 2011 best Finance Minister in Africa by Euromoney Emerging Markets for stabilising and setting the Zimbabwean economy on a growth trajectory. He has also co-authored several books including In the Name of the People: How Populism is Rewiring the World; and Democracy Works: Re-wiring politics to Africa's Advantage.

Panellist: Barbara Kilei:
Country Manager-Uganda, International Development Law Organization (IDLO)

Barbara Kilei is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Mediator, an Arbitrator, a Board Member of the African Women in Arbitration, and an Executive Committee member of the Women in ADR Kenya (WADR). Barbara is currently serving as the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) Country Manager-Uganda, seeking to advance rule of law by supporting justice sector reforms in Uganda.

In Kenya, she contributed to several commercial justice sector reforms such as the operationalisation of e-filing under the Judiciary’s Enterprise Architecture, the drafting of the National ADR policy, the publication of the Case Digest on ADR by the National Council for Law Reporting, operationalisation of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration and drafting of its 2015 rules. She has also served as a Senior State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General, Kenya, representing the Government of Kenya in Diverse Commercial matters.
