Launch of the ‘Why Do Women Earn Less Report’ by UN Women

The ALN Academy joined partners and stakeholders in Kenya in an event by the UN Women ESARO on the release of the “Why Do Women Earn Less?” report. This study addressed the gender pay gap across the ESA (East and Southern African) region and highlighted the challenges women face in the labour market. The event saw NGOs, government bodies, the private sector, and the media express their commitment to taking concrete steps towards achieving gender equality.
